This figure painting is created with acrylic paint, charcoal, and chalk on a museum wrapped canvas. It deals with the metaphoric idea of a fall. This is a poignant symbol that has appealed to me for a couple decades. To have the carpet pulled out from under you, to fall from grace, to lose your footing - these are just a few of the ways this imagery has proven its power. In this case this man is in a free fall, but you will notice that there are hands reaching up to catch him!

Artist Joanne Beaule Ruggles has created a unique embossed drawing of a woman’s corset from the 1940s / 1950s. It is perfect hanging on the walls of my salon because I have used vintage artifacts as decorative items. This artwork is a great addition to my decor and elicits interest and comments on a regular basis.

Our Siberian cat, “Monster”, believes this was created just for her! She can keep thinking that, but we adore this piece in our living room!
