"The day I met you" is dedicated to the serene autumn sky, when the earth moves farther from the sun and the light takes on a thin veil. It is a painting of Ascension, the earth and sky meeting and touching for a brief moment, as day becomes night and night becomes day. It is painted in warm yellow hues and earthy greens, hard to capture on film. It is serene. Soothing. Languid.
