Tangent, an adjustable plant stand, snuggly embraces pots of various shapes and sizes through a clever moving joinery.
A tapered leg and slotted stretcher combine and repeat around a single axis, forming a stable triangular formation. When loosened, knurled fasteners threading through each stretcher into its adjacent leg allow the assembly to expand and contract in a motion reminiscent of a traditional camera aperture. As Tangent's legs, completely dependent on one another, close in unison around a vessel, they cradle and brace the form to create an elevated and secure resting place to display favored flora in the home.
