Suspended Moment is a wall sconce composed of a suspended Republic-era porcelain bowl, hanging from a vintage wood form by hand-wrapped hemp rope. The deliberate juxtaposition of eras — a 1920s–1940s blue-and-white bowl, a 1987 chair back, and the quiet pause between them — creates a luminous, one-of-a-kind focal point for an entryway, a hallway, or a bedside.
The porcelain bowl retains its original glaze and a century of patina. The wood base carries its own history into a new form. When lit, the warm glow travels across the patinated wood and porcelain, illuminating the marks of time rather than concealing them. The piece is wired for US standard outlets and includes an energy-efficient LED module. Ready to hang.
Dimensions: 9.4ʺW × 3.1ʺD × 23.6ʺL (24 cm × 8 cm × 60 cm).
One-of-a-kind original.
