Abstract figurative artist
Rebecca is a self-taught abstract and figurative artist. Through her process, she intuitively discerns what stays and goes, layer upon layer by marking, scraping, wiping away, layering again until the painting feels complete. With her background in Interior Design, she is inspired by architecture, texture, color, form, pattern and contrast. Abstracting interior and exterior spaces and the figure are common themes she uses to investigate the subconscious and our emotional landscape. Her work explores thru the lens of consciousness, spatial constructs and human nature.
