Love Your Momma

The collaboration by Chor Boogie and Trek 6 was dedicated to the women in their lives. Chor's dedication was made to his late mother. In the mural, he tried to encapsulate two things: the 5 natural elements and representations of his mother's soul. The frogs were her spirt animal. The eyes are hers.

Meet the Creator

Chor Boogie (a.k.a. Joaquin Lamar Hailey) is an internationally renowned master of spray paint, having pioneered new techniques and his unique style in this modern medium of fine art. His visionary murals and art exhibitions have appeared throughout the world: Dubai, Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Australia, and in China for the 2008 Olympic games.

He was recently honored by Societe Perrier as being number three among the the Top Ten U.S. Street Artists of 2014. He approaches his use of color as a form of therapy and visual medicine, and has been dubbed “the color shaman” by comrades and fans.

He has resided in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2007, where he has been an active member of the street art community.
