These rough plates are the perfect pedestal for a special little treat. I've shown them here with a perfect little dried persimmon. Outside food, these would be great in your entry way as a catch all dish, on your nightstand for your rings, or anywhere else you might want a little tray to catch your small trinkets and treasures. They are dishwasher safe, so feel free to use them as you would any other plate, though the texture might capture some food residues.
Each plate is thrown by hand as a slab then carefully pressed onto a large stone to capture the unique texture of basalt. no two are completely alike.
Dishwasher safe, but I would avoid the microwave with these.
