A honed disc of natural quartzite set into a hand-finished base of thermo-modified ash, handmade in Los Angeles. The stone stays cool and protects the surface; the wood absorbs condensation and warms to the touch. Cut from a natural slab, every disc carries unique veining — no two are alike. Large size: 4.5 inch base for mugs and glasses. Colorway: Sand (cream/tan). Made to order — ships in 1-2 weeks. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; re-oil the wood occasionally.

The weight of a quiet ritual — natural stone and wood, made by hand in Los Angeles.

STŌN began with a simple idea: that even the smallest everyday object deserves to be made with care. We make two-part coasters — a honed disc of natural quartzite set into a hand-finished base of thermo-modified ash. The stone stays cool and protects the surface; the wood warms to the touch and drinks up condensation. Because every disc is cut from a natural slab, no two are alike — the veining you receive is yours alone. Designed and assembled by hand in Los Angeles, in limited natural colorways and available made-to-order, including custom stone colorways on commission.
