This organic sculptural abstract piece is hand carved from a single block of solid hardwood. Its rounded, pebble-like form feels grounded and natural, inviting the hand to hold and explore its contours. The piece balances the raw weight of the material with a refined, smooth finish, acting as a standalone work of art.
The wood grain is the focal point, featuring deep concentric rings and natural fissuring that tell the story of the tree's growth. A striking vein of translucent red resin fills a prominent natural crack, stabilizing the wood while adding a jewel-like flash of color that contrasts beautifully with the earthy tones of the timber. This detail highlights the philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection and transforming it into a feature.
Finished with natural oils and waxes to protect the wood and enhance the depth of the grain and resin while maintaining a silky smooth feel. Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom grade objects.
