The Lasso Lamp is a sculptural stainless steel floor lamp with opal glass by Nitush Aroosh, part of the Lasso Collection (2025). Formed from a single loop of mirror-polished steel, it rises like a rope caught at the apex of its swing — fluid, poised, and held. An opal glass globe at the crown diffuses a soft, ambient glow that contrasts with the crisp reflectivity of the steel below.
Each piece is formed through hydroforming — steel shaped under high water pressure — then hand-worked into the looping rope-like forms that define the series. The hand-hammered surface catches and fragments light as the viewer moves around it.
The glass is warm and diffused in its effect; the steel is sharp and environmental, reflecting the room in broken fragments around it. The Lasso Lamp functions simultaneously as a light source and a source of reflection — bringing the room into its own presence.
Handcrafted from recyclable materials using a zero-casting process, each lamp is unique in its hand-finished detail and fully customisable in colour.
