The Minami is a solid oak coffee table, a grounded table worked entirely from European oak. Solid and grounded, it is the most tactile of the materials Lebanto works in.
The oak is solid European timber left in its natural finish, its honey-to-amber tone and open grain warm to the touch and warmer still in a room. It is the most tactile material in the range, a solid oak surface that ages and settles over time.
Nothing about the making is concealed. Two boards of solid oak are slotted one through the other into an interlocking cross-leg base, the join shown openly as the single detail of the design.
As a solid oak coffee table it holds a room quietly, as at ease in a living room as anywhere. The Minami is an Italian coffee table made to order in Cantù, in Lombardy's long-established furniture district, drawn from a palette of full-slab stone, solid timber, and premium Italian glas
