This series showcases fiber sculptures housed in 9x9-inch shadowboxes, each crafted from a single, consistent material: cotton twill tape. Through folding, looping, shredding and a myriad of other types of structural manipulation, the tape is transformed into forms that feel distinctly individual yet visually cohesive as a set. The pieces can be installed on their own or arranged as a dynamic, textural grouping for the wall. With their clean format and sculptural presence, these works offer a versatile design solution—adding depth, movement, and a refined handmade touch to residential and commercial interiors alike.

Multi media artist exploring material and techniques

I am a Connecticut-based multimedia artist with over 30 years of experience creating one-of-a-kind works for homes, commercial spaces, and design-driven environments. I work in a range of modalities including fiber art, collage, sculpture, photography, printing, and book art – often combining multiple media in a single piece. Over the course of my career, I have been an avid explorer of both material and technique, reimaging definitions of art and beauty. My art has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the country, including numerous solo shows, I’ve been honored with multiple awards and been featured in national publications and books. My work reflects a fascination with texture, pattern, color, organic shapes and sculptural forms. Moments of vulnerability and transition, the majesty of nature, and the beauty of imperfection, all have a voice in my work. While the work frequently embodies fragility, it also speaks of the possibility of change, growth, hope and resilience. Every piece I create is one of a kind. Many works are available for immediate purchase, and I’m always pleased to discuss custom pieces tailored to your space and vision.
