This artwork is composed of acrylic paint and India ink on unstretched canvas creating an no-objective abstraction on the page. A figure drawing is placed on top of the color field with an eye toward placement that will take advantage of the shapes and marks in the abstract "environment". As I work the figures suggest stories through their body language.
