We believe that humans thrive in nature and require a connection to the physical world. We believe that a healthy home includes natural elements that possess spiritual and functional value. We believe that humanity is connected through generations and community. Nordlanda was founded to connect these ideas.

During the depths of the Covid pandemic our founder, Steven Anderson felt compelled to undertake a physical project to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with his family heritage. With the design & woodworking skills he honed in his fathers and grandfathers workshops' Steven rekindled his connection with craftsmanship and modern design. Combined with his professional background in sustainable business and a love of nature his path forward was clear and Nordlanda was born.
