This contemporary 3x4 Persian kilim is an exciting new addition to Rug & Kilim’s flat weave designs. Handwoven in wool, its design is inspired by antique Persian Sofreh Kilims—a well-known tribal rug style with rich history. 

This particular rug enjoys a sharply woven blue medallion on a beige open field in more forgiving, modern colors. Keen eyes may further note a textural element of embroidery in the brighter hues, and admire its subtle complement.

In 1989, Rug & Kilim celebrated a major milestone with the opening of its second store in Morristown, New Jersey. The business quickly established itself as a national source for the finest Oriental rugs, offering a wide-ranging collection from Persia, Tibet, India, Pakistan, Russia, and China.
