Originating from Nepal, this modern geometric wool rug is hand knotted in a durable wool pile and a unique, painterly abstract pattern. Embracing traditional styles, the prevalent hues of abrash sky blue and off white act as the background for a dimensional portrait, floating a brushstroke-style tangerine red and beige geometric rectangle as well as the more hyper-stylized, richer tiles in the foreground; embracing new hues of deeper royal blue as well as teal, salmon, chestnut brown, and black with a unique stylistic outline separating the distinct patterns.
