The Render series is inspired by the unique patterns found in modern architectural masonry, captured via a striking overlay of vertical and horizontal lines that create a body of texture through the combination of geometric shapes and pattern placement.
A contemporary presentation of traditional weaving techniques that allow for a sculptured finish, an exploration of subtle textural changes, where the casting of light creates a gentle play of mood through shadow.
Render 019 is hand woven in natural organic merino and dark navy dyed alpaca wool.
Finished in a bespoke floating natural oak frame, hand crafted to size with rear saw tooth hanger attached.
Frame - 103.5cmW x 53.5cmH x 3.5cmD.
Weight - 3.3kg
Backed in felt with artist tag.
A Certificate of Artist Authenticity is included, signed and dated.
