🎨Story behind this Work
In this painting I want to describe a sunset I remember while visiting Oahu. There was a red sky, dark clouds and rough waters. Usually when you have a Red Sky in the afternoon the water is calm, as the saying goes “Red Sky at Night Sailors Delight”, but this was the exact opposite of calm and the contrast in color was amazing. I wanted to show that in this painting.
As you look you get a feeling the water is rough, there’s a mild haze, the sun is setting and you have those dark clouds. The dark clouds in this painting are my favorite because it adds a lot of perspective and the clouds look like they are coming towards you as they move off the canvas.

Note: This is unframed. If you’d like it framed in the back so it protrudes out from the wall more or want to do some type of other frame, like a floater frame let me know and we can discuss options and prices.

🎨Art Placement
Small to Medium wall.

🚨You want to place this piece in a well-lit area. If you have special focal lighting great, but you don’t even need that, just a well-lit area.

🎨My goal is to make sure your artwork looks amazing in your house or office so I’m always available for any questions and concerns and make suggestions.

🚨 WATCH VIDEO If available please watch the video of each piece you're considering buying. Photos don’t always show everything, and I want to make sure you see the artwork from different angles, get an idea of scale, see details and minor imperfections that may not show on a photo.

✒️ Note: A lot of my art is signed on the back in paint or marker. I normally just don’t like putting my signature on the front because a lot of time I just think it interferes with painting or design.
