Custom hand made furniture. From tree to heirloom
is a custom furniture shop based in Gill MA. We are located on a 3rd generation family farm. Home to a sawmill, tree farm, enormous inventory of lumber and slabs and a multiroom shop complex on the picturesque family faarm. At each piece we make is custom designed for each client. Many end up becoming friends and repeat clients. our pieces are made from sustainably harvested and sourced materials much of which come from Gill and is sawn right on site by myself. From Tree to heirloom we celebrate the life of every tree with each piece. past/current clients include Smith College (Neilson Library 9 piece in collaboration with Maya Lin), Amherst College, Maya Lin, PACE Art Gallery and hundreds more.
