This large 16" diameter porcelain platter is one of our newest designs. The potter's knuckles make the texture of the platter's surface which is finished with a celadon-like glaze. The platter's dark rim is created using porcelain mixed with iron oxide. The dark porcelain looks like iridescent metal where the platter's edge is not glazed.
Use as a serving platter or a centerpiece -- it's comfortable either way.
