Vincent Salvati creates contemporary abstract paintings that build emotion through layered, textured processes in oil and acrylic. Color is the driver—colorful fields and quiet surfaces that reward close viewing and respond beautifully to changing light. Educated at Pratt Institute and William Paterson University, Salvati has exhibited in the New Jersey Arts Annual at the Montclair Art Museum and the New Jersey State Museum and served on the board of Pro Arts Jersey City. He works in northern New Jersey and partners with designers on placements and commissions.
