At the base, a colorful ambrosia maple platform grounds the design, adding texture and sophistication while providing a stable foundation. Our hemp furniture is made to order. The raw forms are plastered and polished by hand and each piece will vary slightly in its imperfections. Minimum lead times are 12-14 weeks depending on the time of year (summer / winter). Hempcrete must air dry slowly in order for the material to naturally carbonate by absorbing ambient CO2 and calcifying back into limestone. The process cannot be accelerated artificially.
