Becca Clegg BA is a painter. Her work is inspired by amazing natural panoramas and landscape. She works quickly in acrylic on canvas or board, wet into wet with inks and paint over tramline and tubeline textures, to give unpredicted and spontaneous results. Becca loves colour and loves it when random marks suggest real things. She has sold many original acrylic paintings this year and sells Giclee prints of several of them, including a Limited Edition of one of her most successful paintings - “Poppyfield” which sold within 24 hours and from which 5 commissions have been taken. In 2018 she was commissioned to paint over 17.5 metres of paintings (4 triptychs) for Frimley Park Hospital.
Becca’s work is in collections all over the world, including, the Middle East, Australia, US, Canada and many Eurpoean countries. She is a member of Guildford Arts, Surrey Artists’ Open Studios, Surrey Art Box and Prism Artists. Her work is currently on display at Obsidian Art Gallery, Stoke Manderville and Bourneside Gallery Dorking.
