This Paint Pop began as a painting of musical notes and symbols.

Paint Pop oil paintings take months to create. Every weekend when I sit down to paint, the palette from the weekend before is rubbed into a painting that didn't make the grade. I love the paint so much that I can't stand to throw any of it away. Making a Paint Pop began as a method to keep my old paint in a way that entertains the eye. Sometimes I can look at the colors on the rubbing and remember what painting whose paint is ensconced here.
