Paint Pops take months to create. Every weekend when I sit down to paint, the pallet from the weekend before is rubbed into a painting that didn't make the grade. I love the paint so much that I can't stand to throw any of it away. Making a Paint Pop began so that I could keep my old paint in a way that just entertained the eye. Sometimes I can look at the colors on the rubbing and remember what painting it came from. These cover a landscape that had lots of Black Eyed Susans and they still show here and there. The original oil on canvas is 9" x 11 1/2".
