This overlapping wavy fused glass installation was created for the lobby of a new assisted living facility on a marina in Vallejo, CA. Inspired by the site’s waterfront, the piece evokes the graceful movement and vertical rhythm of kelp, translating that natural energy into layered, flowing glass forms.

Standing 9 feet tall, the work is composed of eight individually handcrafted panels installed to create a continuous, dynamic composition. Textured layers and overlapping shapes allow light to shift across the surface, resulting in a sculptural focal point that enhances the architectural environment.

This work is available by commission and can be customized in scale, color palette, texture, and overall mood to suit your space. Each piece is handcrafted, ensuring a truly one-of-a-kind installation.

I am a kiln-formed glass artist working from my studio in Volcano, Hawaii on the Big Island. Inspired by the surrounding ocean, the raw beauty of newly formed volcanic terrain, and the unique flora and fauna of the region, my work reflects a a balance of movement, structure, and organic form. Through glass, I translate the natural landscape into contemporary pieces that enhance interiors with light, texture, and a strong sense of place. I create original works and collaborate on custom commissions for residential and hospitality environments.
