This piece explores themes of accumulation, expansion, and emotional excess through layered abstraction and organic form. Dense areas of texture and movement move across the surface, allowing forms to emerge and dissolve simultaneously within the composition.



I’m interested in the tension between beauty and overwhelm — the point where growth becomes tangled, uncontrolled, or difficult to contain. Built through repeated layering and reworking of the surface, the piece intentionally balances structure with disruption and instability.

I've always been a maker. Long before I considered myself an artist, I was drawn to yarn, fabric, color, and the satisfaction of creating something with my hands. After a career in accounting, I found my way back to those instincts and began building a studio practice rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and material exploration.

My work spans painting, fiber, and mixed media, often weaving together flowers, figures, textiles, and layered imagery. I'm interested in the stories we carry, the ways we grow and change, and the tension between vulnerability and strength.

I hope my work invites people to slow down, look closely, and discover something new each time they return to it.
