Drew Austin (b.1996) is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Denver, CO.
Austin’s work focuses on relationships present in the physical world and relies heavily on abstraction, play with surface and material, and conceptual ambiguity. His practice is rooted in considering connections between the natural world and the art world, developing work based on daily observation, critical thought, and investigative research.
Taking on different media and aesthetic approaches, Austin’s work is connected through his personal experiences often layered and considered in relationship to each other and to himself.
