A contemporary figurative painting from the Alienation Series by GELA MIKAVA.
A solitary faceless figure appears within a deep emerald field, where layered colors, painterly gestures and textile-like ornamental textures merge abstraction with human form.
The composition explores themes of identity and emotional distance, while the decorative elements introduce a subtle dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression.
Fluid paint drips and vibrant color accents dissolve the figure into an atmospheric landscape of color.
The rich palette and layered textures make this work a powerful statement piece for contemporary interiors.
Original mixed-media painting on linen canvas.
Size: 100 × 80 cm
