In the tradition of hand loomed weavings, each silk piece is cut into strips and woven back together. Inspired by traditional warp & weft weaving, this textile artwork slices and layers different silk fabrics to create an open plaid pattern. Loose ends hang from the edges & are part of the design. Crafted entirely from reclaimed silk sourced from the fashion industry.
