I found a photo online claiming to be from 1890 of a tiny one-eyed kitten named "One Eye Pete" with the caption "Tough, I am."Is it real? Is it from 1890? Is that actually Pete? I have absolutely no idea. But I loved him too much not to paint him!Pete (if that's even his real name) doesn't seem to care that he's missing an eye. He's tough. He said so himself.Origin unknown. Date questionable. Attitude undeniable!
