Ocotillo Quartet, inspired by the San Jacinto mountains and their craggy outpourings of rock and rugged vegetation, is a ceramic painting on four custom made panels. The collector was looking for something to span a dramatic space above her elongated fireplace that would also tie into heirloom works of art placed elsewhere in the room. Each panel hangs on a French cleat for secure and accurate placement.
