The Mid century style was what I had in mind when I started to create this large geometric abstract artwork. However apart from that vague idea, I had no specific ideas for a design, or for that matter colors, in mind. I simply followed where the muse beckoned. The result are these very precise organic abstract minimal forms, on a very dark blue, almost black background, that unexpectedly harmonized into this stunning work .

The work is hand painted on an oversize 48 x 64” gallery-wrapped canvas. The painted canvas is framed inside a gold float frame which serves to further elevate the work. There is a 1/8” space between the canvas and the frame, and this is what gives the impression that the canvas in floating inside the frame. Two alternative versions of the work are also available. The first is as a metal & acrylic print. The second is as a framed giclee print on fine art canvas board.

Metal & Acrylic Print
The artwork is printed onto smooth specially prepared metal. After printing, the printed face of the metal is covered with a 1/2” thick sheet of optically clear polished, premium acrylic. The inherent quality of both metal and acrylic to reflect light, gives these prints a jaw-dropping luminous effect, transforming the print into the ultimate statement piece. The print is hung with 4 Stainless steel mounting posts at each corner. An additional two mounting posts in the center keeps the artwork rigid. Your metal prints will be shipped in a protective wooden crate, so that the print arrives to you in perfect condition ready to be hung up immediately.

Each of the art materials that are chosen as a base on which to offer prints of the original artwork, was chosen for it’s archival museum-quality features. Giclee Prints offer far superior quality to any other type of prints. Giclees are are highly defined images of the artwork that are digitally printed directly onto a chosen substrate. Printing is professionally done on a High Resolution Inkjet Printer that capture every minute detail of the original work to produce images that have rich color and depth.

Art does not reproduce the visible, rather it makes visible. — Paul klee 1879 - 1940

I’m a self taught, multidisciplinary artist living in New Mexico USA. I’ve sold my art quite successfully to individual collectors in several countries via online platforms for the past 14 years. As a self taught artist I do not have the standard burnished CV. In place of that, I do instead have artistic talent coupled with practical know how, extraordinary imagination and absolute reliability to offer.

My portfolio reflects my multi disciplinary approach to creating art. It is the evidence of my absolute love and passion for the actual act of creating. The creative force constantly seeks outlets of expression for it’s endless stream of ideas among those who take on the mantle of artist. And as an artist I’ve indulged in a mix of the ideas that have entered into, and sparked my imagination. Without restricting myself to any one artistic genre or style. The broad range of works in my portfolio is the result of that indulgence.
