What Dreams Are Made Of

Item details

"What Dreams Are Made Of" in Grand Hyatt San Francisco by Ursula Xanthe Young was created from 48 x 216 in. Acrylic on wood. "Drawing from my unconditional love of the magical city of San Francisco and its surroundings", this piece is a homage to the dreamlike qualities of the City by the Bay. She used themes and techniques recurring in her recent work, and closest to her heart. Her aim was to capture the colorful, lush, vibrant and ever-changing views of the city as seen through the eyes of a dreamer. With its crossed wires, colorful Victorian homes and fog-filled skies that dizzily loom above the blue-green of the bay, San Francisco has become her muse.
