John De Rosen was a World War II war refugee from Poland who emigrated to the U.S. in 1939 and became famous for his murals. "Founding of United Nations 1945" is one of the best examples of his work and can be found at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. The work describes the inner workings of the U.N. and heroically portrays people in different countries/nations working as one for the betterment of all.
