Olga de Amaral is my reference par excellence. I am fascinated by all of her work, but especially her works with countless tesserae. They remind me of the mosaics at the Greco-Roman site in my province, so visited and studied for their special relevance. I feel connected to the materials that she uses, such as the gesso and gold leaf used in the polychrome and gilding of pieces of art with which I have also worked.

I use the color gold in evocation of light, the sun and the learning of gold used in the technique of restoring antique furniture. Its fabrics in the form of tesserae evoke mosaics and the art of ancient civilizations.

Mosaic Saturday Night transmits light and brightness with the different positions of the tesserae. These can be done by hand and create new shapes and shine. The reflections change depending on the angle from which the work is viewed. Mosaic Saturday Night evokes life, joy and also elegance and invites the viewer to receive all this energy.

Commissions inspired by this work are welcome.

What is possible is always greater than what already exists.

At the heart of Anna.C’s practice is the belief that possibilities extend beyond what already exists. Imagination allows us to explore and multiply them; creation brings one of those possibilities into being, and each new reality expands the field of what is possible once again.

From this perspective, Anna.C has developed a contemporary art practice open to different materials, scales, disciplines and forms of expression. Each work begins with the exploration of a possibility and the search for how to bring it into existence. This freedom to explore is grounded in a distinctive artistic identity—one that can evolve without being bound to any single material, technique or discipline.

Her work has a strong physical and spatial presence and can develop from singular works to large-scale projects and interventions conceived in relation to architecture and space. This capacity for expansion naturally positions her practice at the intersection of art, contemporary spaces and contexts in which the work can take on new dimensions.

Anna.C has an international practice spanning private collections and art, hospitality and residential projects. Her work has been selected for international projects including Four Seasons projects in Florida and Saudi Arabia, Canyon Ranch, Conrad Hamburg and Vanderbilt Residences in Puerto Rico, as well as projects in New York and Dublin. She has worked with international art platforms, galleries and art advisory firms including Tappan Collective, Kevin Barry Art Advisory, ArtLink, Wescover and ÚNICO Gallery.

In 2026, she was selected for inclusion in the Homo Faber Guide by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship.

Her practice continues to expand through new works, large-scale projects, spatial interventions and collaborations across architecture, design, cultural institutions, brands and special projects within the world of luxury, continually extending the possibilities of her artistic language.
