Hi, I’m Gila Rayberg. I create expressive, whimsical mosaic portraits using upcycled dishes alongside traditional materials. Each piece blends my love for texture, color, and storytelling.
After a career as a freelance musician and educator, I discovered my unique artistic voice in mosaic art, inspired by years of travel around the world, especially in Southeast Asia. The rich cultures and vibrant art I experienced there continue to influence my work. I was honored to be invited to two international mosaic symposiums, during which I created work for a Museum of Contemporary Mosaics, in Italy and Patagonia.
