Sara Zigman's work is highly chromatic, bold, and textural. Sara is known for her large-scale murals that she has been creating for the past 20 years, as well as her modern and pop fine artwork. She is constantly challenging herself by developing new techniques and products, especially her current passion for 3D art. Her assemblages of highly vibrant, textural hand-painted, large-scale installations were the inspiration for her new line, MODU. Sara wanted to offer the modular concepts she has been bringing to her corporate, healthcare and hospitality clients, to individual collectors in hopes of sharing the creative process directly with them.
With this new collection, all products are comprised of modular segments. In this way, the end user gets to collaborate in the design process by choosing how the piece is displayed. Whether it is deciding which order to assemble the large MODU floor sculpture or how many segments of candleholders are combined to create a show-stopping table length Candelabra, YOU are taking part in the creative process. This collaboration truly delights Sara and her team at sarabeth designs! Even if you might be a bit reluctant to start painting a mural in your home, Sara believes that everyone has an Artist inside of them and they should be allowed to play every once in a while. As a mother of four (including triplets), Sara encourages everyone to remember their creative, inner child and have some fun with her art!
