Made of a linen shade with a beautifully handcrafted wooden bracket, the Misaki Wall Lamp will bring to your interior an interesting and functional work of art. The origami-inspired shade has an open bottom that provides an extra flow of down lighting for reading, in addition to the general ambient light, showing the beautiful hand-folded pattern and the texture of the linen fabric.

La Loupe is dedicated to creating lampshades that provide elegant and warm ambient lighting with a modern-retro style.

La Loupe is a Baltimore-based design studio dedicated to the creation of handcrafted interior lighting. Founded by Jorgelina Lopez and her collaborative partner Marco Duenas, with the intention of exploring the relationship between craft and design to make functional and artistic objects.

The name La Loupe (loupe / lüp/: small magnifying glass) represents this process of exploration and discovery, a symbol of observation and visual attention that they bring to their designs. From idea to design, from their studio to your home, they are behind in each step of the process. Bringing a creative idea to life and being personally involved in its production, is a practice that drives and connects them with the objects we create.
Each piece is handcrafted by the couple at their textile studio and woodshop in Baltimore, MD
