Quartz - ‘ Marine Sunset ,‘ is large scale work painted on six individual canvases of 120cm x 40cm each. Nature has always been very inspirational to me. Marine sunset has been painted in a pure abstract style. This piece has a lovely fluidity to it and reminds you of a glorious sunset by the sea. It has the flow of marine land and has movement all around. There is abundance of waves which appear to be dancing in the sunlight. This painting has both vibrancy as well as the freshness of the sea. It is full of abstract features and there is so much to enjoy.
Once on the wall this painting will give a spacious look to its surroundings. Every single stroke has been worked collectively and applied painstakingly. I thoroughly enjoyed working on each canvas and am very pleased to see them come together as a finished piece.
