The Cream White Loma Wall Light is a sculptural ceramic wall sconce and wall lamp by UK-based ceramicist Catalin Filip — a hand-formed stoneware piece built around a single deliberate kink in the form, where the material seems to register movement, pressure, or a moment of arrested motion. Light glows from the top, casting a gentle atmospheric halo onto the wall; a bold textile cord adds a visual thread that grounds the composition.
The kink is not an accident or a flaw — it is what the piece is. The form reads as caught mid-movement: a familiar silhouette briefly interrupted, made interesting by that interruption. Minimal in outline, it brings warmth and sculptural character without overstatement.
The textured natural ceramic exterior is matte and earth-toned, available in Black Vulcan, White Cream, and Terracotta. Inside, a cream speckled glaze catches and holds warmth at the aperture, casting a soft and considered ambient glow.
The Loma Wall Light suits residential and boutique commercial interiors. It can be hardwired or fitted with a cord and plug for wall socket use. Compatible with 110–130V and 220–230V systems.
Catalin Filip makes sculptural ceramic lamps and objects from his studio in St Leonards-on-Sea, UK. Romanian-born and self-taught in ceramics, he bends, pulls, and stretches raw clay to capture the moment before it sets — a practice as much about listening to the material as shaping it.
