The Linear Tension Console is a sculptural exploration of line, balance, and architectural form. Handcrafted in our Toronto studio, the design features a dynamic composition of intersecting solid steel rods contained within a refined steel frame, creating a striking interplay of tension, rhythm, and negative space.
Constructed from precision-welded steel tubing and solid steel rod, the console is finished in a durable matte black powder coat that highlights the clarity of its geometric composition. Shown with a richly finished ebony hardwood top, the warmth of the wood contrasts beautifully with the linear steel structure, creating a piece that is both visually bold and quietly refined.
Designed as both functional furniture and sculptural art, the Linear Tension Console works equally well in entryways, living rooms, hospitality spaces, galleries, and commercial interiors. From every angle, the shifting network of steel rods creates changing patterns of light, shadow, and perspective, making each view unique.
Each console is individually handcrafted to order, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the fabrication process.
