It's an abstract work, made with acrylics on canvas.
It's signed on the front, varnished and delivered with its dock system.
The edges are painted to prolong the work. This allows it to be hung without framing.
Isabelle works the pictorial materials in a spontaneous, dynamic and instinctive gesture, a technique all in rhythms and movements, reminiscent of abstract expressionism and the «action painting».
The lighting color, splashes, and drifts allow them to evoke here «like a rain of light».

"Painting as part of a dream, where reality is very much present".

Biography
Born in 1969 in the Paris region, Isabelle Pelletane lives and works in Poitou-Charentes (France). As a painter, art became an integral part of Isabelle's life at a very early age. After studying psychology, she went to live abroad, when she was greatly influenced by the colors and landscapes she encountered along the way. On her return to France, she initiated an artistic research to explore man's place in the universe in his natural environment.
Varying her subject according to the paintings, she offers us a rather  vision optimistic and colorful vision, an ode to life and love. She invests herself fully in the creative process, working with materials and gesture that are spontaneous, dynamic and instinctive. Her work is constantly evolving, in line with abstract expressionism.
Isabelle Pelletane has multiplied exhibitions in France, but also internationally. Her works are also part of numerous private collections in France and abroad.

Statment
Isabelle Pelletane's work is based on an intuitive approach, an exploration of human nature and her own consciousness, through introspection and observation of the world around her. From her university studies in Psychology, she has retained a taste for working on oneself. Isabelle's work focuses on the power of vital energies, what drives us, the "bubbling of life". Nature, the earth, the elements and energies are all sources of inspiration. She leaves traces on canvas, like so many imprints of our passage on earth.
Over the last few years, meditation has gradually led her into new territory, a more conscious search for her own being and our place in the universe. This personal journey guides her in her creations, between silence and action.
She prepares her work sessions by settling into a meditative state, drawing on her innermost echoes of the human soul. Then, in the present moment, she invests herself fully in the creative process and works the materials with a spontaneous, dynamic gesture : "action painting". Like a creative trance, the whole body is involved, and brush movements become more lively. They lead the paint into a dance where energies and colors gush onto the canvas, revealing traces, splashes and drips in warm, luminous colors, creating intense new materials of life. It's all about balance and harmony.
