Created from 0.25" hand bent, hand welded steel rod, this paper airplane makes metal appear light as air. A unique form of interior design, my steel drawings activate space through bringing line off the 2D plane and out into the world.
Any of my smaller works can be blown up to large scale, and this lounger is an example. At larger than life, this unique work makes an incredible impression. Hand bent using a torch from one continuous piece of steel, the work has a final powdercoat to ensure it will never rust - and therefore it is appropriate for outdoor as well as indoor use.
