Lusciously painted watercolor mosaics that surrender us to the beauty and exuberance of the natural world.

Apoorva was born and raised in India and now lives in Brooklyn. She uses fluid pigments such as watercolor to express herself artistically. Her artwork is heavily tied to nature and culture, and she uses art as a tool to trigger memories of her past and tie her to the present.

Her art also aims to achieve a balance between the natural world and material possessions using subjects like flora, fauna, and architecture to give life to her vision. She believes it is important for humans to slow down and reconnect with the resplendence of nature, behold the beauty it offers and remind ourselves that we are no better or no worse than an animal, bird, or flower.
