Lagoon is a handwoven natural fibre rug from our Modern Collection, crafted by skilled artisans using Tahat mohair texture yarn and Super Black–dyed Karakul wool. The combination of these fibres creates a bold, graphic composition where structured patterning contrasts with a softly textured bouclé base.
The rug begins with a foundation of Tahat, a mohair texture yarn known for its natural bouclé structure. Formed by softly curled mohair fibres spun into the yarn, Tahat produces a gently looped surface that introduces tactile depth and subtle dimensionality across the rug. This textured base establishes a calm, balanced ground for the pattern to emerge.
Across this foundation, Super Black–dyed Karakul wool defines the geometric pattern.
