Troop is an elevated street casual restaurant that has its roots in street food from around the world. Inspired by the golden age of hip-hop, as well as street culture for aesthetic inspiration.
Troop was designed by Kyla Coburn and her team of artists who painted murals and created a sculpture out of boomboxes stacked on top of each other. There’s a bar where skateboards are multipurpose as the backs of stools, and a cozy nook with hanging chairs, wicker seating and cushy bright-colored pillows. The design takes you back in time you will most often hear mid-80's to mid 90's hip-hop running through the sound system.
