Part of a new body of abstract works exploring information overload, identity, and the ways in which the former influences the latter.
A significant part of our energy is constantly spent creating order from chaos and managing the overwhelming flow of information we encounter daily. Infoxication has become embedded in contemporary life, shaping our experiences and influencing the way we understand ourselves.
This series of collages seeks to represent the ongoing struggle to make sense of complexity. Through the search for patterns and identifiable structures, the works explore how disparate elements within a system interact and contribute to the formation of a whole—ultimately finding order within chaos.
Repurposed magazine covers and recycled paper have been cut and folded into concertina forms. These structures are then assembled onto a timber and cardboard frame, also covered with paper, creating a layered and tactile three-dimensional surface.
Two hinged-panel artwork. The piece will arrive folded, with all necessary hardware included to easily transform it into a single artwork ready to hang.
