Indoor stained glass shutters - Decorative Objects

I designed these shutters for a couple in Kennett Square, Pa. Claire and Jeff wanted something a little different than curtains to give them some privacy but also let natural light in. The shutters open and close with ease and add warmth to their second floor.

My journey as an artist has led me to stained glass and mosaics. Years ago I used scrap glass and materials at hand to create abstract and multidimensional mosaic sculptures. My creative approach has since morphed into drawing patterns to be carefully cut out of glass, soldered and polished. I am learning and perfecting my craft, always. <3
