This 12 x 6 foot triptych was commissioned for New England Institute of Technology's dormitory lounge. I translated the concepts of technology, education, and community into a visual platform that works in concert with the lounge's architectural and interior design. Using an image I photographed of a string of tiny LED lights on a black paper bag, I created my design. Within each of my photographic works, I hide a positive word or love note that relates to the subject. This mural has the word "converge" nestled within. Can you see it in my close-up image? I love to elevate reality by turning simple objects into simply art.
This commission was dye-sublimated onto aluminum which offers a depth and saturation unsurpassed in the printing world. It is rated Class B, making it a fantastic choice for almost any interior and exterior space. For more information on the material, please pop on my website.
